Feriespelet 2024
...to be held 26-28. July. The oldest already start on Thursday 25 July.

For the 26th time in 2024, Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag, together with good forces around the band, organizes a volunteer Feriespel for musicians in the school bands!

Feriespelet is suitable for anyone who plays in a group; whether you've just got an instrument, whether you've been playing for a few years, whether you've participated before or not - and if you're older than school band age, you can of course also sneak along! This is a volunteer project, and we would like help, both in the kitchen and to play along and point at the music. You are most welcome. If you can help.

Feriespelet was initially for musicians in Nordhordland, but has in recent years been open to anyone. In the event of a large number of applications, we can set a limit for applications before the deadline, so we recommend that you register early.

We divide into 3 bands:
- The oldest band is for those who will start 9th grade in the autumn, or are older.
- The middle bald is for those who have played for 2 years or more, and up to those who will start in the 8th grade. 
- The youngest band is for those who are a bit fresher -  those who have played for 1-2 years.

During the weekend there will be full activity with group rehearsals, band rehearsals, barbecues, puzzle races and much more. The whole thing will be rounded off with a great closing concert on Sunday at 4pm in the church in Knarvik. 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE is 1 July. Registration opens on 1 April.

Practical information:
- There is no accommodation at Feriespelet
- The participants will get dinner on Friday, lunch, fruit and barbecue on Saturday, and lunch on Sunday.
- Bring an instrument (percussionists bring what they have of drumsticks), music stand, mutes (if you have one).
- The price for all food and teaching is NOK 500. Payment on arrival (cash, vipps, bank card)
- It is allowed to participate in a bands with a lower age group than the one you are in, but not the other way around.
